Since I started running Connector meetups and events way back in 2008, I recognised the power of collaborations. It was my superpower.

Typically, in business networking, people connect over coffee and pastries and discuss their employer’s business. However, I see an emerging megatrend of career networking and career collaborations. This is where workers meet, connect, and collaborate on their own projects.

I see it firsthand with my Career Lab events in Dublin. As more workers lose their jobs to AI, they will need new support groups to design alternative employment and entrepreneurship options.

I want to help accelerate these collaborations and have a few ideas bubbling, as not everyone can make it to the events in person. And I want more collaborations before, during, and after the events.
