I’m Conor.

Welcome. Here’s a little bit about me and my story.

I live in Dublin with my wife and young son. I love to make new connections and I spent time living in London, Sydney, San Francisco, and Leiden in the Netherlands. My career journey accelerated in 1999 when I launched my very first personal brand website, which helped me earn a four-year visa to Australia.

I’m a digital innovator, educator, and entrepreneur who grew a personal brand side hustle, Connector, into a seven-figure agency working with clients such as Huawei, Sony, Volkswagen, and EY. After selling the business in 2020, I turned my focus to career design—bringing design thinking principles into how we shape our work and future.

My career has been one long experiment, marked by launching ventures, advising global brands, training over 5,000 professionals, and winning awards for digital innovation. Those experiments taught me that the traditional Career Ladder is broken for most. Success today comes from building assets: skills, collaborations, intellectual property, equity, and a personal brand that multiplies opportunities.

That belief inspired my book, The Assets Ladder, which offers practical tools like the LEAP Score, Career Assets Scorecard, and Career Assets Map to help people Learn More, Earn More, and Own More.
