You probably didn’t notice, but I’ve been quiet of late. Not everywhere, but online.
I took the summer off for unofficial ‘Paternity Leave’. For once, my work took a back seat and I came to terms with the lack of time to make progress with my book. Work-wise, I didn’t really send any newsletters as I didn’t have the time to devote to it.
I don’t talk about my personal life much, but less than eighteen months ago, Aisling and I were joined by Daniel. So since then my life has changed completely. For the better, obviously.
My wife has a traditional professional career in a high-pressure position, so I’m very happy to support her commitments, like when she returned to work after her maternity leave. A house move fell through, and we had a minder for a few months while waiting to move. As a dad, you are told to relish the experience as it goes so fast. As an older dad, it might be my only time to spend quality time with a little one.
My main activity this summer apart from visits to parks and walks, was to add some of my old archives to my personal website (www.conorlyn.ch) and share some posts on LinkedIn. However, after a nice summer bonding, we got him into a nice creche in September.
So I’m back, and hopefully, I’ll kick back into top gear next week with new content from my book. As the book has a new subtitle, I changed this newsletter title to match it. The focus of this newsltter will be to help readers ‘Learn More, Earn More, Own More’.
