Sixteen years ago, I launched 10 businesses in one hour at an event called Connector Launches.
The event featured launches from Stephen Conmy and Edward Conmy from The Digital Times, Stephen O’Leary from Olytico (O’Leary Analytics), and Martin Osborne from Progressive Productions Ireland. Some are still in business to this day, which is amazing.
Then a massive recession hit Ireland.
The idea got shelved - year one of Connector was about survival, not experiments.
Connector sold in 2020, and recently this old idea started nagging at me again.
Now it feels like everyone’s launching something.
No better time to bring group launch parties back - with a fresh twist.
