Career Lab is back with a brand new event at Kennedy's Bar beside Trinity College. We're back to avail of the PA system and big screen as I want you to speak.
This is the first Career Lab Open Mic event. Yes, the microphone is open to all!
To help everyone make more and better connections, I want to give everyone a chance to introduce themselves to everyone else there. You have 30 seconds to say who you are, what you have to offer, and what you are looking for career-wise. Then anyone interested can come and talk to you. So be ready with your 'pitch'.
Note, if you go over your 30-second time slot, you have to buy everyone there a drink and other disincentives to be announced that evening ;-)
So there will be lots of career networking so you can make new connections and friendships. Come along and collaborate with like-minded people who want to help each other succeed.
This event is for anyone looking to get the most out of their working life. If you are looking for work or side hustles, or want to explore new business ideas to build up your income and skills, don't miss this event.
At our events, Conor is available for chats as a 'Career Designer', plus a traditional Career Coach is generally available to answer career-related questions for job seekers etc.
Are you ready for the future of work?
According to LinkedIn Co-Founder Reid Hoffman, within the next decade, 50% of the population will be freelancers and earn more while working for “3 or 4 gigs”, than those working in traditional employment. Plus the OECD predicts that ‘50% of all professionals will have multiple income sources by 2030.’
So are you ready for the future of work? How will you design and manage your dream career? To help you prepare, Career Lab events focus on brainstorming ideas with your peers, so you have take-home ideas, actions, and tools from Conor's new book 'Multi-Me.'

Previous Feedback
"I loved how inclusive, informative, and open the community was. I've been to professional networking events before and sometimes they tend to get a bit cliquey (when too many senior execs or startup founders are involved) but I was really glad this wasn't like that at all!"
